Ohio State Men’s Basketball Drops To No. 11 In AP Poll

Following a disappointing 61-57 loss to Wisconsin at home, the Ohio State men’s basketball team fell to No. 11 in the AP Poll.

The Buckeyes were ranked as high as No. 2 but dropped to No. 5 after losing to West Virginia. Following the loss to the Badgers, the Scarlet and Gray sit at No. 11.

Future Buckeye opponents in the Top 25 include No. 8 Michigan State (March 8), No. 12 Maryland (Jan. 7, Feb. 23), No. 19 Michigan (Feb. 4, March 1) and No. 20 Penn State (Jan. 18). Other Ohio State foes outside the Top 25 include No. 26 Iowa (Feb. 20), No. 31 Wisconsin (Feb. 9) and No. 39 Purdue (Feb. 15).

Ranked teams the Buckeyes have beaten include No. 14 Kentucky, No. 16 Villanova and No. 20 Penn State. Ranked opponents Ohio State lost to include No. 17 West Virginia, while the Buckeyes dropped games to unranked teams in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
