ESPN’s College GameDay was in University Park, Pa., this morning in anticipation of Ohio State’s primetime tilt with Penn State (7:30 p.m. ET on ABC).
As the two-hour show wrapped up, analyst Lee Corso – surrounded by large Halloween yard ornaments and kids wearing costumes – pulled out Brutus Buckeye’s headgear.
The first time Corso donned a mascot’s headgear as part of his weekly predictions was Oct. 5, 1996, when he correctly predicted Ohio State’s 38-7 win over Penn State.
This was the nation-leading 48th College GameDay appearance for Ohio State, which is 33-14 in games with the show on site. The Buckeyes will look to improve their record with a win over the Nittany Lions tonight.
