Ohio State Falls To No. 2 Seed In College Football Playoff, Will Face Clemson In Fiesta Bowl

Following Ohio State’s 34-21 win against Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship Game, the Buckeyes dropped to the No. 2 seed in the College Football Playoff.

LSU dominated Georgia 37-10 in the SEC Championship Game, convincing the CFP Committee to push the Tigers past the Buckeyes for the No. 1 spot.

Clemson, who destroyed Virginia 62-17 in the ACC Championship Game, received the No. 3 seed for the CFP. The Scarlet and Gray and Clemson will face off in the first round in the Fiesta Bowl.

Oklahoma, who held on to beat Baylor 30-23 in overtime, will be the No. 4 seed and take on LSU. The Sooners and No. 1 Tigers will face off in the Peach Bowl.
