During a Penn State touchdown in the fourth quarter by wide receiver Jahan Dotson, Ohio State junior cornerback Cameron Brown went down on a play off the ball and had to leave the game on a medical cart.

The play occurred with 14:30 to go in the fourth quarter and the Buckeyes up 31-19 over the Nittany Lions, pending the result of the extra point. Brown was down on the ground grabbing his leg in pain.
