Ohio State guards Jaloni Cambridge and Kennedy Cambridge will be back in Columbus for another season. Ohio State announced on social media on Wednesday that both players will return for next season.

The announcement comes two days after the transfer portal closed on Monday. Over the last week, Ohio State also announced that guard Ava Watson, forward Kylee Kitts and center Elsa Lemmila all were returning to the team.

Jaloni Cambridge solidified herself as one of the best point guards in the country last year. Over 35 games, Cambridge averaged 23.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists, while shooting 49.4 percent from the floor, including 36.0 percent from three-point range.

She earned second-team All-American honors and earned the Dawn Staley Award, given to the best guard in the country.

Kennedy Cambridge may not be the prolific scorer that her sister is, but she was one of the most productive defenders in the nation.

She averaged 3.7 steals per game, the sixth-best mark in the country. She set the single-season program record of 130 steals and was named to the Big Ten All-Defensive Team.
