On the eve of the spring game, Ohio State sealed the deal with one of its top targets when Ronnie Hickman announced his commitment to the Buckeyes.
The four-star athlete from Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic arrived in Columbus on Friday for his latest visit to OSU, roughly two months since he took an unofficial visit to campus the weekend of Feb. 3.

The 6-1, 200-pound Hickman becomes the fourth member of Ohio State’s 2019 class. He joins Huntington (W.Va.) Spring Valley four-star offensive tackle Doug Nester, Mentor, Ohio, four-star offensive tackle Ryan Jacoby and Avon, Ind., four-star running back Sampson James.
The 247Sports composite rates Hickman as the No. 124 prospect, No. 13 athlete and No. 2 in New Jersey.
