Former Ohio State cornerback Davison Igbinosun was selected by the Buffalo Bills with the No. 62 overall pick in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh on Friday night.
Igbinosun began his collegiate career with Ole Miss in 2022, joining the Rebels as a four-star recruit out of Union, N.J. The 6-2, 195-pound Igbinosun was the No. 162 overall prospect, No. 21 cornerback and top player from the state of New Jersey in the class of 2022.
As a freshman at Ole Miss, Igbinosun played in 13 games, including 10 starts, recording 37 total tackles and five pass breakups on his way to a College Football News freshman All-America nomination.
After one season with the Rebels, Igbinosun transferred to Ohio State on Jan 18, 2023. Igbinsoun made an immediate impact with the Buckeyes, starting all 13 games as a sophomore in 2023. That season, he racked up 59 total tackles, five pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries, as his efforts earned him honorable mention All-Big Ten honors.
He then started all 16 games for the national champion Buckeyes in 2024, finishing with 45 tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions, while leading Ohio State with nine pass break-ups. Though Igbinosun was solid statistically, the junior drew a whopping 16 penalties, ultimately spurring him to spend one final season in Columbus.
In his senior year, Igbinosun again had a solid campaign, totaling 52 tackles, six pass breakups and two interceptions as he significantly cleaned up his penalty problems from a season ago.
Igbinosun was the seventh player from Ohio State selected, and the third Buckeye selected in the second round.
