Another game for Ohio State’s 2026-27 men’s basketball season has been revealed.

Rocco Miller of The Field of 68 reported on June 3 that the Buckeyes will host Lipscomb on Nov. 29 as part of its nonconference schedule for the upcoming season.

This will be just the second time the Buckeyes and the Bison face off against each other, with the only other time coming in the 2009-10 season when Ohio State topped Lipscomb 84-64 on Nov. 24, 2009.

Five Buckeyes scored double-digit points in that game, with David Lighty leading the way with 22, while Jon Diebler (17) — the brother of current head coach Jake Diebler — Evan Turner (16) Dallas Lauderdale (13) and Jeremie Simmons (11) followed.

Ohio State is set to open the season against BYU on Nov. 2 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Other games already scheduled for the Buckeyes include the first contest of a home-and-home series at UConn on Nov. 13, the second game of a home-and-home against Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., and a Dec. 19 matchup in the CBS Sports Classic against Kansas at Madison Square Garden.

Big Ten opponents have already been revealed as well, but the schedule has not been yet.

Diebler also mentioned earlier this week that the Buckeyes are close to scheduling another nonconference matchup against a team that made the NCAA Tournament last season, saying that he wants the Buckeyes to be tested when the Big Ten schedule comes.

“Our program belongs on the biggest stage, and to do that you have to play other programs who are on that stage,” Diebler said. “And you’ve got to get ready for Big Ten play. That’s the bulk of your schedule, and if you roll into Big Ten play without challenging and pushing yourself and facing some adversity early, you’re not setting your team up to be successful.”
