Ohio State is less than a week away from learning the decision of 2022 four-star Greenwood (Ind.) Center Grove defensive tackle Caden Curry, one of the program’s biggest recruiting targets for the class for several years. The 6-3, 250-pounder will announce his final decision on Dec. 14 at 3:30 p.m., live on CBS Sports HQ.

Ranked the nation’s 88th-best player and 14th-best defensive lineman, Curry’s final three schools are Alabama, the in-state Indiana Hoosiers and Ohio State, with the Buckeyes considered a favorite for his signature since at least 2019 when his recruitment began in earnest. He hosted Ryan Day and Larry Johnson for a visit on Dec. 2 that reportedly went very well, and his Crystal Ball reads entirely in favor of the Buckeyes.

A two-time Indiana state champion at Cedar Grove, Curry will compete in the All-American Bowl next month and then enroll early at the school he picks. If he selects the Buckeyes, he could be one of several defensive linemen slated to join the class in the coming weeks, with Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Catholic four-star tackle Hero Kanu and Duncanville, Texas four-star defensive end Omari Abor also projected as potential signees.
