Safeties coach Matt Guerrieri has offered two more safety prospects in the 2027 class in the couple of weeks, and at least one of them is taking a good luck at Ohio State.

Three-star Seth Williams of Lakeside High School in Atlanta received his scholarship offer from the Buckeyes on May 16, and it didn’t take long for him to schedule an official visit to get to Columbus this summer.

Williams will make it to Ohio State for his official visit the weekend of June 19, according to 247Sports. He will also visit Georgia (June 5) and Florida (June 11).

Williams is the No. 849 prospect in the country and the No. 87 safety, according to the 247Sports composite. In his junior season, he compiled 73 tackles, two tackles for loss, five passes broken up, one interception and a forced fumble.

Also earning a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes was three-star safety Errol Kerns III, who received his on May 21. Kerns is currently committed to Miami (Ohio) and has been since April 24.

He is the No. 737-ranked played in the country and the No. 72 safety and boasts impressive track speed, posting a 10.78-second time in the 100-meter dash. He currently has an official visit scheduled to Indiana on June 19 after receiving a scholarship offer from the Hoosiers on May 14.

Many of his 15 offers have come recently, with offers from Michigan, Kentucky, Northwestern, Illinois State, Illinois, Purdue, Indiana, Texas A&M, Wisconsin and Ohio State all coming in May, after he committed to the RedHawks.

Buckeyes To Host Loaded Weekend Of Official Visits

For the first weekend of official visits, Ohio State won’t have a large number of prospects on campus from the 2027 class. However, the players who will be in Columbus are priority recruits for the Buckeyes.

Perhaps the most important recruit who will be on campus is five-star running back David Gabriel Georges, the No. 10-ranked prospect in the country and the No. 2 running back.

Gabriel Georges has been a priority target for the Buckeyes since they offered him, and running backs coach Carlos Locklyn hopes he can make OSU stand out over Tennessee, Ole Miss and Georgia, the other three schools included in his top four, each of which the five-star is set to take official visits to.

The Buckeyes will also have two defensive line prospects on campus, with five-star Marcus Fakatou and four-star Brayden Parks making their way to Columbus.

Fakatou, the No. 32 prospect in the country out of Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon, will be on his first official visit of four total that he has scheduled. He will go to Georgia on June 1, Oregon on June 12 and Notre Dame on June 15.

Parks will also be on his first official visit of the summer. He is ranked the No. 172 player in the country and the No. 19 defensive lineman. Other than OSU, Parks is also considering Georgia, Illinois, Miami (Fla.), Oregon, Tennessee and Notre Dame.

Benny Easter Jr., a five-star wide receiver who is committed to Texas Tech, is also making his way to Columbus this weekend for an official visit. Easter is considered the No. 36 prospect in the country and the No. 7 wide receiver.

He has been committed to the Red Raiders since Nov. 20, but will take four official visits to keep his options open. The Buckeyes are first on his list, with Ole Miss (June 5) second, Texas Tech (June 18) third and Alabama (June 19) last.

At Humble Summer Creek High School, Easter had a strong junior season with 89 catches for 1,309 yards and 19 touchdowns, helping his team to a 6A D-II state quarterfinal appearance.

Then, the Buckeyes will also host four-star linebacker Prince Goldsby on campus for an official visit, his first time in Columbus since he committed on May 25. Goldsby is the No. 101 player in the country and the No. 7 linebacker.

He finished his junior season with just 10 games played and 83 tackles, 22.5 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
