The Game will, once again, get the Big Noon Kickoff treatment.
FOX announced on Monday that the annual rivalry matchup between Ohio State and Michigan will kick off at noon on Nov. 25 and will be televised on the network. It will be the 15th consecutive noon kickoff between the rivals, with the last meeting to take place outside of the timeslot coming in the 2006 “Game of the Century” matchup, which saw Ohio State outlast Michigan 42-39 after a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.
The Wolverines have claimed each of the last two meetings in The Game in emphatic fashion, running all over the Buckeyes to win 42-27 in 2021 before gashing Ohio State with big plays en route to a 45-23 victory in Columbus in 2022.
As for other games on the schedule, the only other known start time is for Ohio State’s Nov. 11 home contest against Michigan State, which is slated for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on NBC. The Buckeyes will also begin the season on the road at Indiana on Sept. 2 before returning home to host Youngstown State and Western Kentucky on Sept. 9 and Sept. 16, respectively. Ohio State closes out the month with a marquee non-conference battle with Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. on Sept. 23.
After their idle week, the Buckeyes host Maryland on Oct. 7, before traveling to Purdue on Oct. 14. Ohio State then returns home to host Penn State on Oct. 21 before a two-game road swing against Wisconsin on Oct. 28 and Rutgers on Nov. 4. The Buckeyes then host Michigan State in primetime and Minnesota a week later on Nov. 18 before their trip to Ann Arbor, Mich on Nov. 25.
