Ohio State Football Has 39 Earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors

The Big Ten announced Academic All-Big Ten honors on Friday, and 39 members of the Ohio State football team were Honored for their performance in the classroom.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten honors, student-athletes must be on a varsity team, have been enrolled for a minimum of 12 months and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Kicker Noah Ruggles was one of 56 student-athletes in the conference with a 4.0 GPA, and it was the fifth time being honored for tight end Mitch Rossi and long snapper Bradley Robinson.

In total, 124 student-athletes from Ohio State were given Academic All-Big Ten honors among 1,619 conference-wide. It’s the second-most for Ohio State all-time behind 140 selections last season.

Along with Ruggles, sophomore cross country runner Lindsay Still also finished with a 4.0 GPA.
