Ohio State announced the 14 newest members of the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame on Thursday, set to be enshrined this fall.
The list of new inductees includes:
- Maureen Cogan, women’s cross country/track & field (1981-85)
- Malcom Jenkins, football (2005-08)
- Miho Kowase, women’s tennis (2014-17)
- Ysenia Lucas, field hockey (2004-07)
- Nick Mangold, football (2002-05)
- Sean Melton, men’s gymnastics (2014-18)
- Rick Middleton, football (1971-73)
- Kelsey Mitchell, women’s basketball (2015-18)
- Steven Moneke, men’s tennis (2006-09)
- Renee Powell, women’s golf (1967)
- Joe Roberts, men’s basketball (1958-60)
- Tom Ryan, wrestling (2007-present)
- Taylor Sandbothe, women’s volleyball (2013-16)
- Nicolas Szerzen, men’s volleyball (2015-18)
These 14 members will join the 473 athletes, coaches and administrators that have been previously inducted through last year’s class and dating back to 1977.
The group will be inducted during a dinner on Oct. 6 at the Covelli Center and will be recognized the following day when Ohio State hosts Maryland at Ohio Stadium.
