The Associated Press announced its list of midseason All-Americans Tuesday, and two Ohio State players were featured.
Second-year wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and third-year offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. were both selected by the organization for the honor.
Harrison has been a favorite target of third-year quarterback C.J. Stroud six games into Ohio State’s 2022 season, hauling in a team-high nine receiving touchdowns. That ranks No. 2 nationally. He’s added 536 yards on 31 receptions.
Anchoring the Buckeyes’ offensive line at left tackle, Johnson has yet to allow a quarterback sack, or even a quarterback hit. He’s helped paved the way for an offense that ranks No. 1 nationally in scoring and No. 2 in total yardage. OSU averages 6.0 yards per carry this year, fifth in the country.
