Floyds Knobs (Ind.) Floyd Central four-star offensive tackle Zen Michalski officially ended his recruitment when he signed with Ohio State during the first day of the Early Signing Period on Wednesday.

The 6-7, 288-pound Michalski is considered the 23rd-best offensive tackle and No. 318 prospect overall in the class of 2021. He was committed to Louisville when he landed an offer from the Buckeyes on Sept. 8 and decommitted from the Cardinals shortly thereafter.

Though Michalski was unable to meet with coaches amid the NCAA-mandated dead period, he’d grown close from afar with head coach Ryan Day, offensive line coach Greg Studrawa and graduate assistant Kennedy Cook in recent weeks. He also took a trip to Columbus with his father in late September, which sealed the deal for Ohio State. He pledged his services to the Buckeyes on Oct. 3.

Michalski is joined in Ohio State’s 2021 recruiting class by Bellaire (Texas) Episcopal five-star guard Donovan Jackson and Richfield (Ohio) Revere four-star guard Ben Christman.
