How He Did In High School: After seeing limited time on varsity as a freshman Caldwell broke out for The Bolles School during his sophomore and junior campaigns. Between the two seasons, Caldwell took down opposing players for 217 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, four sacks, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble.

Where He Fits In 2026: With skills in pass coverage, scouts project the versatile Caldwell to fit either at safety or linebacker, giving the recruit multiple routes to make an impact early on at Ohio State. The more likely path is at safety, with Caldwell being recruited by safeties coach Matt Guerrieri. With Caleb Downs slated to be selected in the top 10 of the 2026 NFL draft, Caldwell would likely compete with a backup spot with Faheem Delane and Leroy Roker III, as well as fellow class of 2026 recruits.
