Get to know New Palestine, Ind., four-star interior offensive lineman Ian Moore, who signed with the Buckeyes on Wednesday.

Height, Weight: 6-5, 295

247Sports Composite Ranking: He is rated as the No. 138 overall prospect, sixth-ranked interior offensive lineman and third-ranked recruit out of Indiana.

Commitment Date: Moore committed to Ohio State on Oct. 20, 2022.

Other Offers: Cincinnati, Duke, Florida State, Iowa, Louisville, Missouri, Notre Dame, Penn State, Tennessee, Wisconsin.

How He Did In High School: Moore was named a 2024 All-American by the All-American Bowl selection committee. He is one of 100 players in the 2024 class to receive the honor and he was selected to play in the All-American Bowl on Jan. 6, 2024, after a standout senior season.

Where He Fits For 2024: With three new starters on the offensive line this season, there were some obvious struggles early on, but the group as a whole made improvements for the Buckeyes over the year. Right guard Matthew Jones has run out of eligibility and left guard Donovan Jackson is still mulling over the decision of whether to enter his name into the draft or return to Ohio State.

If Jackson leaves, that leaves two spots open on the interior. Soon-to-be sophomore Luke Montgomery will likely be a favorite to earn one of those spots, but Moore will have the opportunity to establish himself on the two deep once he arrives on campus.
