According to a report by CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, this season’s Battle 4 Atlantis men’s basketball tournament will be moved to the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Ohio State is one of eight teams in the men’s field, with the others being Creighton, Duke, Memphis, Texas A&M, Utah, West Virginia and Wichita State.

The tournament, which was previously slated to take place on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, has no current schedule, but is expected to be able to hold fans in some limited capacity, according to the report by Rothstein.

This is Ohio State’s first appearance in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, which has previously taken place in late November. Michigan is the most recent winner of the tournament, taking down Gonzaga 82-64 with forward Jon Teske taking home tournament MVP.

While Ohio State is not taking place in it, this is also the first year for the women’s Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, which includes, Central Michigan, Marquette, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Florida and Syracuse.

On the men’s side, the Buckeyes are the only the second team from the Big Ten to enter the tournament since its creation in 2011, joining the Wolverines.
