This comes just three days after Wypler trimmed his offer list featuring more than 20 schools down to just Ohio State and Stanford. The 6-3½, 285-pounder took an unofficial visit to Ohio State on June 9 after receiving an offer from OSU in March.
Wypler is the No. 75 overall prospect and No. 3 offensive guard in the 247Sports composite rankings of the 2020 cycle. He becomes the fifth commit for Ohio State from the 2020 haul and the fourth since June 27, when Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star safety Lejond Cavazos committed. Cincinnati St. Xavier five-star offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. joined the fold on June 28, followed by Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral four-star quarterback Jack Miller on Sunday. Marietta, Ga., four-star offensive tackle Jake Wray, the younger brother of Ohio State freshman OT Max Wray, was the first 2020 prospect to commit to OSU, doing so on April 23.
