Former Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore was detained by police Saline, Mich. and turned into the police at Pittsfield Township Wednesday night for investigation into potential charges, according to Pete Thamel and Dan Wetzel of ESPN.
Moore’s detainment comes just hours after he was fired from Michigan with cause for an inappropriate relationship with a Wolverines staff member.
It is currently unknown why Moore has been detained, however, Saline Police reported to The Detroit News that “an incident Wednesday that required police attention.
