After overcoming early offensive struggles, Ohio State reigned victorious over the fifth-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish 21-10 on Saturday. But, the Buckeyes were unable to cover the wide 17.5-point spread that was placed on the game.
This week, the Buckeyes find themselves with a wider spread against a lesser opponent. Ohio State is a 44-point favorite, according to DraftKings Sportsbook, over Arkansas State — which is coming off of a 58-3 win over FCS-level Grambling State. The Red Wolves went 2-10 last season under head coach Butch Jones, who is in his 13th season as a head coach at the college level with previous stints at Central Michigan, Cincinnati and Tennessee.
This is the first all-time meeting between the Buckeyes and Red Wolves. The over/under is set at 68.5 points.
Ohio State and Arkansas State are set to kick off at noon on Saturday at Ohio Stadium. The game will be televised on Big Ten Network.
