The Buckeyes were back on top the very next day with a 6-2 win over the Huskies. Olivia Mobley had two goals for Ohio State with each of Jennifer Gardiner, Joy Dunne, Kiara Zanon and Cayla Barnes adding one of their own.

Amanda Thiele had 14 saves in the game, and Ohio State took 43 shots on goal as a team, dominating the ice.

The No. 1 Buckeyes are back home on Dec. 9-10 against Minnesota State for a two-game series. This will be their first series against Minnesota State of the season, after beating them four times in four matchups in the 2022-23 season in which they outscored them 17-9 in those four wins.

It will be the last time Ohio State is on the ice before the new year since they will get over a month off of competition before they match up against Minnesota Jan.12-13 on the road.
