Four-Star Defensive Lineman Emanuel Ruffin Commits To Ohio State

Ohio State gained its fourth commitment in the last eight days when four-star defensive lineman Emanuel Ruffin pledged his services to the Buckeyes on Nov. 9.
Ruffin’s commitment comes soon after he decommitted from Colorado, and he is now the highest-ranked defensive tackle in the Buckeyes 2026 class.
The Bessemer City, Ala., prospect is the No. 197 player in the country, the No. 26 defensive lineman and the No. 12 player in the state of Alabama. He took an official visit to Ohio State on June 6 before his initial commitment to the Buffaloes.
The Buckeyes were finalists for his initial commitment along with Colorado, Alabama, LSU, Georgia and Texas. Missouri entered the race for Ruffin recently as well, but the Buckeyes and defensive line coach Larry Johnson were able to land his commitment this time around.
He joins four-star defensive tackle Damari Simeon, and three-star defensive tackles Cameron Brickle and Jamir Perez on the interior in the class, with four-star defensive end Khary Wilder also committed to Ohio State on the defensive line.
