How He Did In High School: Wilhelm was part of a successful senior season with his St. Edward team, but a long run through the OHSAA playoffs came to an end when the Eagles fell to Olentangy Orange in the state semifinals in late November.
Where He Fits In 2026: Wilhelm will almost certainly redshirt along with his other freshman offensive linemen. With almost all of Ohio State’s offensive linemen able to return this year it would be an extremely tall task for any freshman offensive lineman to get on the field. It will be a good development year for Wilhelm, who will have plenty of experienced upperclassmen to learn from.
