Availability Report: Lathan Ransom Questionable, Six Other Buckeyes Out Against Western Kentucky

Ohio State will welcome back one safety this week in Josh Proctor, who missed last week’s win over Youngstown State, but the Buckeyes could be without another, as Lathan Ransom is questionable to play Saturday against Western Kentucky with an undisclosed injury.

The Buckeyes will also be without freshman linebacker Arvell Reese, who sustained an injury during a kickoff in last week’s win over Youngstown State, though defensive coordinator Jim Knowles indicated earlier this week that it was not a longterm injury.

Five other mainstays on the injury list – wide receivers Kyion Grayes and Reis Stocksdale, tight end Zak Herbstreit, defensive end Will Smith Jr. and safety Kourt Williams II – remain out for Ohio State with longterm injuries.
