According to a report from ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Washington cornerback Tacario Davis is doubtful to play in today’s matchup against No. 1 Ohio State.
Davis’ status was in doubt leading up to the game after he didn’tplay in the Apple Cup last week in a big win over Washington State, but now it seems unlikely he will suit up against the Buckeyes, which could be big news for the Ohio State offense. Davis has been dealing with this injury since the Huskies Week 2 win over UC Davis.
Cornerback Ephesians Prysock is still likely to play against the Buckeyes, but the Huskies will have to rely on a backup to try to keep Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate in check.
Ohio State and Washington are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern on CBS.
