Ohio State added its fourth scholarship quarterback to the roster when former Houston Christian signal calller Eli Brickhandler committed to the Buckeyes on Tuesday.
Brickhandler is a redshirt junior who spent two seasons at North Carolina A&T before heading to Houston Christian for one season. He appeared in eight games with the Huskies last year and completed 38 of 77 passes for 557 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. He also showed off his running ability, rushing for 264 yards on 63 attempts with a score on the ground.
In his redshirt freshman season with the Aggies, he played in seven games and threw for 354 yards and two touchdowns with two picks while running for 176 yards.
Brickholder will likely be down the depth chart with the Buckeyes for his two remaining years of eligibility, but he adds a little depth with Julian Sayin, Lincoln Kienholz and Tavien St. Clair in the room.
