Sophomore receiver Jeremiah Smith gave a positive update regarding his health headed into Ohio State’s game against Michigan.

In a clip of a yet-to-be released episode of the ‘Downs 2 Business’ podcast, hosted by junior Ohio State safety Caleb Downs and his brother Josh Downs, a receiver for the Indianapolis Colts, Smith said he’s feeling good headed into The Game.

“I’m feeling good,” Smith said. “Dealing with a little situation injury-wise, but I should be good to go Saturday.”

Smith was first listed as questionable ahead of Ohio State’s 48-10 win over UCLA on Nov. 15 and only played in the first half of the game. Smith then missed the entirety of Ohio State’s 42-9 win over Rutgers on Nov. 22.

For the season, Smith has been one of the Buckeyes’ most productive players. He’s had 910 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns on 69 catches.

Fellow star receiver Carnell Tate has also dealt with an injury. He first missed Ohio State’s 34-10 win over Purdue with an undisclosed injury. Tate’s status for the Michigan game is still unknown.
