Ohio State will be without Colin White next season after he announced that he will enter the transfer portal when it opens on April 7.

White has been with the Buckeyes for two seasons and has dealt with injuries during his time in Columbus, limiting his playing time, especially during his freshman season.

He played in 19 games as a freshman, scoring 1.1 points per game while adding 1.1 rebounds. Then, as a sophomore, he made it into 29 games and averaged just under nine minutes per game, scoring 0.9 points and bringing down 1.0 rebounds.

White joined the Buckeyes in the 2024 class as the No. 157 overall prospect in the country, according to 247Sports composite rankings. He was the No. 6 player in Ohio and was Ohio’s Mr. Basketball for his senior season at Ottawa-Glandorf.

He joins Devin Royal in the portal. Only White and Royal have announced their intentions to transfer this offseason so far, though there very likely could be more with the portal opening in three days.
