  • Ohio State 2021 five-star running back commit TreVeyon Henderson climbed three spots in the 247Sports composite rankings to No. 16 overall nationally.
  • Ohio State 2021 four-star running back commit Evan Pryor dropped one spot in the 247Sports composite rankings to No. 85 overall.
  • Henderson and Pryor claim to have inside information on future commitments as Pryor told 247Sports the duo needs their own crystal ball projectors.
  • Ohio State 2021 four-star wide receiver commit Jayden Ballard ascended 19 spots in the 247Sports composite rankings into the top 50 at No. 49. The Massillon Washington standout went from the No. 11 wide receiver to No. 5 nationally.
  • Ohio State 2021 four-star wide receiver commit Marvin Harrison Jr. dropped 30 spots to No. 89 in the 247Sports composite rankings, sliding from the eighth-ranked receiver to No. 14.
  • Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater four-star wide receiver Christian Leary committed to Alabama.
  • Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy 2022 four-star running back Kaytron Allen received an offer from Maryland and Old Dominion.
  • Houston (Texas) Klein Cain 2022 four-star running back Jaydon Blue received an offer from Florida State. 
  • Denison, Texas, 2022 four-star running back Jadarian Price picked up an offer from Auburn.
  • Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei 2022 wide receiver C.J. Williams added an offer from Florida Atlantic.
  • Lewisville, Texas, 2022 wide receiver Armani Winfield picked up an offer from Penn State. 
  • Kernersville (N.C.) Glenn four-star defensive end Jahvaree Ritzie, an Ohio State target who had the Buckeyes among his top five schools, committed to North Carolina on June 12. He is ranked as the No. 164 prospect overall and the 12th-best defensive end in the 2021 class.
  • Pickerington (Ohio) North five-star defensive end Jack Sawyer looked to be in strong shape after recovering from an MCL injury in a video of the 6-6, 220-pound end playing basketball on June 12.
  • In the 247Sports’ updated composite rankings on June 17, Streetsboro, Ohio four-star defensive tackle Mike Hall moved up two spots to No. 55 and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star defensive end Tunmise Adeleye dropped two spots to No. 32.
  • At linebacker in the updated composite rankings, Ironton, Ohio four-star Reid Carrico moved up one spot to No. 69.
  • 2020 Ohio State four-star defensive back commit Andre Turrentine received a slight bump of two spots in the latest 247Sports rankings, moving to No. 175 overall.
  • Fellow 2020 four-star defensive back pledges Jakailin Johnson and Jantzen Dunn dropped one spot apiece and now sit at No. 65 and No. 141 overall, respectively.
  • 2020 Virginia Beach, Va., Princess Anne five-star cornerback Tony Grimes, who listed the Buckeyes in his final four late last month, fell one spot to No. 20 overall.
  • Clemson four-star cornerback commit Jordan Hancock remains one of Ohio State’s top-remaining targets in the 2020 recruiting class despite his pledge, moved up four spots to No. 41 overall.
  • Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway four-star safety Derrick Davis also fell one spot to No. 89 overall. He is also among the staff’s few remaining targets in the defensive backfield for the class of 2020, and plans to take an official visit in the fall.
