With the early access of Ea Sports’ College Football 26 video game, the ratings of every player on Ohio State’s roster have been revealed.

Overall, there are six players who are rated 90 or higher on Ohio State’s roster, which is tied with Clemson for the fourth most of any program. Penn State, which had many players return for their senior years, lead with nine players rated 90 or higher. Alabama and Texas, the Buckeyes Week 1 opponent, each have eight players above that rating.

Wide receiver Jeremiah Smith (98) and safety Caleb Downs (96) are the two highest-rated players in the game, and are joined by wide receiver Carnell Tate and transfer tight end Max Klare, who are both 91 overall. Linebacker Sonny Styles and cornerback Davison Igbinosun both are rated 90.

Eight more players on the Buckeyes roster are rated 85 or higher with cornerback Jermaine Mathews Jr. (88) being the next highest, followed by running backs James Peoples (87) and CJ Donaldson (86), quarterback Julian Sayin (85), left tackle Ethan Onianwa (85), edge rusher Beau Atkinson (85), defensive tackle Eddrick Houston (85) and linebacker Arvell Reese (85).

Ohio State’s roster in whole is rated the third best in the game at 88, with only Alabama (89) and Texas (88) ahead of the Buckeyes. Not far behind are Penn State, Notre Dame, Georgia, Clemson and Texas A&M, which are all also rated 88.

Many players on Ohio State’s roster are not currently on the roster in the game if they didn’t opt in. The players who aren’t in the game are cornerback Devin Sanchez, quarterback Eli Brickhandler, wide receivers David Adolph and Damarion Witten, offensive lineman Justin Terry, defensive tackle Will Smith Jr. and linebacker Ty Howard.
