Ohio State-Washington To Kick Off At 3:30 P.M. On CBS

The game time for Ohio State’s Week 5 matchup against Washington has been revealed.

After a primetime game against Ohio on Sept. 13 on Peacock and an off week to prepare for Big Ten play, the Buckeyes will take on the Huskies at 3:30 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 27. The game will be broadcast on CBS.

The game is in Seattle, so it will be 12:30 p.m. on the West Coast, but this timing comes as no surprise since Oregon and Penn State match up at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on NBC that same day.

The last time the Buckeyes faced off against Washington was in the 2019 Rose Bowl, which was also former head coach Urban Meyer’s last game. After the 28-23 win — thanks to 251 passing yards and three touchdowns from Dwayne Haskins — Meyer passed the torch to Ryan Day.

Mike Weber was the leading rusher in the game for OSU, with 15 totes for 96 yards.

But now, with Washington officially joining the Big Ten conference before the 2024 season, matchups between the Buckeyes and Huskies will become much more common.

The two teams have played a total of 12 times, and Ohio State leads the all-time series 9-3. The Buckeyes also have a four-game win streak, beating the Huskies 30-20 in 1995, 28-9 in 2003, 33-14 in Seattle in 2007, and in the Rose Bowl seven seasons ago.

The only other game time that has been officially revealed on the Buckeyes schedule is the noon kickoff against Michigan on Nov. 29. That game will be broadcast on FOX.
