
Ohio State is yet again, the top-ranked team in the country in the Associated Press’ weekly top 25 rankings.
After Ohio State defeated UCLA 48-10 at Ohio Stadium Nov. 15, the Buckeyes, who earned 57 of 66 first-place votes, remained at No. 1 in the latest AP Poll for the 12th straight week.
Trailing Ohio State is No. 2 Indiana with eight first-place votes and No. 3 Texas A&M, as the Aggies earned just one first-place vote after the Aggies survived a 31-30 scare against South Carolina. Rounding out the top 10, is No. 4 Georgia, No. 5 Ole Miss, No. 6 Texas Tech, No. 7 Oregon, No. 8 Oklahoma, No. 9 Notre Dame and No. 10 Alabama.
The Crimson Tide saw one of the week’s biggest drops in the rankings after Alabama fell to Oklahoma 23-21 at home, while the Sooners jumped three positions. Also falling in the rankings was No. 17 Texas, who fell to 7-3 after a blowout 35-10 loss to Georgia.
Previously No. 19 Louisville, No. 22 Cincinnati, No. 23 Pittsburgh and No. 25 South Florida all dropped out of the top 25 after losses over the weekend.
James Madison hopped three spots to No. 21, while three American conference teams entered the top 25 in No. 22 North Texas, No. 24 Tulane and No. 25 Houston. No. 23 Missouri also rejoined the top 25 after two straight weeks unranked.
