When Ohio State’s 2025 season opens on Aug. 30 against Texas, the game will be televised on FOX according to a release from the network.

On Monday, FOX revealed that it has the rights to broadcast the highly anticipated Cotton Bowl rematch between to teams that will likely begin the year very high in the rankings. The network also revealed that it would be the host for this year’s edition of the rivalry game against Michigan, as expected.

The Buckeyes finished the 2024 regular season with six consecutive noon kickoffs, and Big Noon Kickoff is on the FOX network, so it’s entirely possible the Buckeyes and Longhorns will be facing off early on that Week 1 Saturday. The article posted by FOX originally said that the game would kick off at noon, but that was later removed.

A game time wasn’t revealed for the game against the Wolverines on Nov. 29, but it traditionally begins at noon, and that is unlikely to change. This will be the ninth straight rivalry game between Ohio State and Michigan that FOX will broadcast.

The times and TV networks have not yet been revealed for the rest of Ohio State’s 2025 schedule.
