Ohio State freshman running back Bo Jackson shut down speculation about leaving Columbus after one season for a bigger NIL deal.
According to multiple reports, Jackson is set to return for his sophomore season at Ohio State.
Despite opening the season as Ohio State’s third-string running back, Jackson quickly made his mark with consecutive 100-yard rushing games against Grambling State and Ohio in Weeks 2 and 3, eventually seizing the starting role midway through the year.
The first-year back emerged as the most productive runner in the Buckeyes’ backfield in 2025, carrying the ball 179 times for a team-high 1,090 yards and six rushing touchdowns.
A product of Villa Angela-St. Joseph in Cleveland, Jackson was ranked as the No. 161 overall recruit and the 10th ranked running back in the class of 2025, according to 247Sports’ Composite rankings.
