Ohio State has pulled off yet another flip, with three-star linebacker Braxton Rembert committing to the Buckeyes on Tuesday.
Rembert had been committed to Wake Forest since June 23, but after he received a scholarship offer from OSU on Oct. 26, it felt as if it was only a matter of time before the Buckeyes could get him to flip.
He’s the third linebacker in the 2026 class for Ohio State, joining four-stars Cincere Johnson and CJ Sanna, both in-state prospects. Rembert is ranked No. 590 in the class, and is the No. 67 player in the state of Georgia, according to 247Sports composite.
Rembert is the seventh commitment in the month of November in the 2026 class now. Four-star cornerback Jay Timmons, four-star defensive lineman Emanuel Ruffin, four-star defensive end Dre Quinn, four-star athlete Legend Bey, three-star tight end Nick Lautar and three-star interior offensive lineman Mason Wilhelm also committed this month.
With the early-signing period quickly approaching in early December, the Buckeyes now have 27 commitments in the class after the addition of Rembert and have the No. 6-ranked class.
