Ohio State gained a commitment in its 2027 class when four-star offensive lineman Kellen Wymer pledged his services to the Buckeyes.
Wymer announced his commitment the day after he visited Ohio State for its 38-14 victory over Penn State to improve to 8-0 on the season. Wymer is a four-star prospect out of Liberty Center, Ohio and is ranked No. 216 in the country, the No. 10 interior offensive lineman and the No. 5 player in the state of Ohio.
He joins three-star offensive tackle Mason Wilt, who announced his commitment minutes after Wymer pledged. Wilt also visited for the win over the Nittany Lions.
Wymer was the fourth commitment in the class, and Wilt is the fifth. They join five-star wide receiver Jamier Brown, four-star quarterback Brady Edmunds and three-star safety Angelo Smith in the 2027 class.
Wymer grew up a Michigan fan, he told 247Sports after receiving his scholarship offer from Ohio State, but he seems to be putting that fandom behind him.
