Former West Virginia Offensive Lineman Justin Terry Commits To Ohio State

Former West Virginia offensive lineman and Pickerington, Ohio, native Justin Terry committed to Ohio State on Saturday, he announced on Twitter.

“I’ve always loved playing football. Now I get to play it at home. #GoBucks,” Terry wrote.

Terry joins Ohio State after spending his freshman season with the Mountaineers, where he redshirted. He has four seasons of eligibility remaining. The former three-star prospect will likely play at offensive tackle with the Buckeyes, giving first-year offensive line coach some needed depth at the position.

Head coach Ryan Day and his staff had been searching for offensive line depth in the portal since it opened earlier this month, also hosting transfer offensive tackles Jaden Ball (Purdue) and Orion Irving (Sam Houston State), so the Buckeyes may still make some additions to that position group this offseason beyond Terry.

Terry is the second player to join the Buckeyes out of the portal this offseason, joining former North Carolina edge rusher Beau Atkinson, who pledged to OSU on Wednesday.
