Former Ohio State guard Kelsey Mitchell added to her list of career milestones on Wednesday night, when she broke the Indiana Fever’s franchise record for most career 3-pointers made.

Mitchell, who is having a stellar eighth season for the Fever, averaging 19.1 points, 2.7 assists and 1.8 rebounds, made her record-breaking 607th 3-pointer in the Fever’s 98-77 loss to the New York Liberty. Although the Fever were blown out, Mitchell, who was named an all-star for the third time in her career this season, scored 16 points on 5-11 shooting, including 2-5 from 3-point range.

Mitchell played with the Buckeyes from 2015-18, and for her career, averaged 24.5 points per game on the way to earning All-American honors in four consecutive seasons.

Mitchell hasn’t put up quite the same gaudy numbers as a professional, but she has always been a reliable 3-point shooter. For her WNBA career, Mitchell is shooting 37.7 percent from 3-point range.
