Ohio State’s wide receiver room is expanding. The Buckeyes gained a commitment from former LSU receiver Kyle Parker on Friday, according to a report from On3.
Parker, a redshirt sophomore receiver, played in all 13 games for LSU last year and had 31 catches for 330 yards and four touchdowns. Parker spent three seasons with the Tigers, but redshirted as a true freshman and saw his second season with LSU cut short after he tore his tricep tendon.
Still, Parker will bring plenty of talent to Columbus. Out of high school, Parker was ranked as the No. 330 player in the country, the No. 47 wide receiver and the No. 56 player out of the state of Texas.
According to 247Sports, Parker is a three-star transfer portal prospect ranked as the No. 354 player in the portal and the No. 66 wide receiver.
Parker is the second wide receiver to transfer into Ohio State this year, and he has three years of eligibility remaining.
