How He Did In High School: As a junior at Southlake Carroll, Boyd went for 1,875 yards and 19 touchdowns and caught 111 passes. He helped lead Southlake Carroll to a 15-1 record and an appearance in the Texas 6-A DII state championship game.
Where He Fits For 2026: With Ohio State set to boast yet another loaded receiver room, Boyd is unlikely to make a huge impact as a true freshman. Ohio State’s 2026 roster will likely include receivers Jeremiah Smith, Brandon Inniss, Mylan Graham, Bryson Rodgers and several other talented players. Boyd’s best chance to earn playing time as a freshman is likely with the special teams unit.
