How He Did In High School: Sandra Day O’Connor had a rough go this season, finishing the year with a 3-8 record, although the offensive line helped the lead running back on the team rush for over 100 yards per game.
Where He Fits In 2026: Smith will almost certainly not see any significant playing time next season with the Buckeyes, or any at all. It will likely be a redshirt year for Smith like the true freshman year is for many offensive lineman, and he will hope to develop behind a strong, experienced line that could return its entire starting five if all of them decide to come back.
