Get to know Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic four-star cornerback Jordan Thomas, who signed with Ohio State on Wednesday.
Height, Weight: 6-1, 185
247Sports Composite Ranking: Thomas is the No. 123 player in the country, the No. 15 cornerback and the No. 2 player in New Jersey.
Commitment Date: Thomas committed to Ohio State on May 12, 2025.
Other Offers: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Miami (Fla.) Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, Texas, Texas A&M, USC. Washington, Wisconsin.
How He Did In High School: In his junior season, Thomas totaled 52 tackles, nine passes broken up, one interception and a forced fumble on the way to an NJSIAA Non-Public A state championship win.
Where He Fits In 2026: With Davison Igbinosun and Jermaine Mathews Jr. both possibly off to the NFL after this season, cornerback could be wide open in that there would need to be two new starters. However, Devin Sanchez and Aaran Scott seem primed to take those positions as the two who played the most in those roles when fill ins were needed. Thomas could make an early name for himself on special teams, however.
