Where He Fits In 2026 With Lorenzo Styles Jr. graduating and outside cornerbacks such as Jermaine Mathews Jr. and Davison Igbinosun potentially heading to the NFL draft after this season, the Buckeyes may have a couple of starting spots in the secondary up for grabs. Still, the Buckeyes have plenty of talented young cornerbacks, meaning Timmons may not be in a position to start as a true freshman. Regardless, he should be able to provide quality depth at cornerback, even as a freshman.
