Carmen’s Crew was unable to defend the title it won last year in The Basketball Tournament, dropping its third round game 68-62 against Fail Harder.

Jamel Morris was the leading scorer in the loss for Carmen’s Crew with 19 points on 6-of-14 shooting, adding three rebounds and a steal. Former Buckeye Keyshawn Woods had just two points, making 1 of 7 shots and missing four three-pointers.

Kaleb Wesson, Trevor Thompson and William Buford, the other three former Buckeyes on the roster, didn’t play on Tuesday night. However, CJ Walker, who is listed as an assistant coach for Fail Harder, will now be moving on to the quarterfinals.

Fail Harder controlled most of the game, taking a 19-point lead into halftime, but Carmen’s Crew was able to make a comeback during the Elam Ending, bringing the game within four points, 66-62, before Darius Adams ended their hopes with a jump shot to reach the 68-point goal that was set.
