Quarterback Joe Burrow, who announced his decision to transfer from Ohio State on Tuesday, is expected to visit Cincinnati and LSU in the coming days, according to a report by Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman.

According to Feldman, Burrow, a product of Athens High School in Ohio, is expected to visit Cincinnati on Thursday before a weekend trip to Baton Rouge, La., to see LSU.

The Cincinnati Bearcats have an incumbent starting returning in Hayden Moore, but Burrow has familiarity with the program and head coach Luke Fickell, who was an assistant on the Ohio State staff through the 2016 season, Burrow’s redshirt freshman year. LSU had a three-way quarterback competition this spring, but has yet to name a starter. Burrow, who competed for the starting job in Columbus this spring with Dwayne Haskins and Tate Martell, would have a chance to win the job right away at either school.

Regardless of Burrow’s destination, he’ll be immediately eligible with two years left to play collegiately thanks to the NCAA’s graduate transfer rules. Burrow received his degree from Ohio State on Sunday.
