Following Ohio State’s 30-24 loss to Michigan on Saturday, the Buckeyes fell to No. 6 in the AP Top 25 released on Sunday.
Michigan, meanwhile, moved up to No. 2 trailing only No. 1 Georgia. The Bulldogs maintained 52 first-place votes, while the Wolverines had 10 first-place votes after their win over the Buckeyes.
The top five was rounded out by No. 3 Washington, No. 4 Florida State and No. 5 Oregon, which each moved up one spot. No. 7 Texas, No. 8 Alabama, No. 9 Missouri and No. 10 Penn State rounded out the top 10, while Iowa – who will face Michigan in the Big Ten Championship Game – was No. 18.
Louisville and Oregon State saw the largest falls, dropping from No. 9 to No. 15 and No. 15 to No. 21, respectively, while four teams – No. 14 Arizona, No. 18 Iowa, No. 19 Oklahoma State and No. 20 Liberty – each rose two spots.
