Ohio State landed two offensive line commitments on the same day.

St. Clairsville three-star offensive tackle Mason Wilt announced his commitment to the Buckeyes on Sunday following a visit for Ohio State’s 38-14 trouncing of Penn State Saturday.

Wilt initially received an offer from Ohio State on June 23 following an impressive performance at a recruiting camp over the summer and first visited the Buckeyes during their 14-7 victory over Texas in Week 1.

Rated as the No. 426 overall prospect in the class of 2027, Wilt is the 15th ranked player in Ohio and the 27th ranked interior offensive lineman in the class.

Wilt chose Ohio State over eight other Power Four schools including Cincinnati, Duke, Florida State, NC State, North Carolina, Penn State, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. He also received offers from Liberty, and the MAC’s Miami (OH), Ohio, Toledo and Western Michigan.

He joins four-star offensive tackle Kellen Wymer, five-star wide receiver Jamier Brown, four-star quarterback Brady Edmunds and three-star safety Angelo Smith in the 2027 class.
