Recruiting Outlook: Ohio State In Top Three For Four-Star WR, Offers Two New Jersey Prospects

When four-star wide receiver Tre Moore narrowed down his offers to his three top schools, Ohio State was included on that list.
The Buckeyes were included alongside Miami (Fla.) and Washington for Moore, who is ranked the No. 160 player in the 2027 class and the No. 21 wide receiver.
Moore attends Pflugerville Weiss High School in Texas, where he has been a standout pass catcher the past two seasons. In his sophomore season, he had 38 catches for 562 yards and six touchdowns in 11 games. Then, as a junior he made a big leap to 85 catches for 1,443 yards and 19 scores.
The Buckeyes still have some work to do to secure the commitment of Moore, but he would be a good addition to a 2027 class that already features five-star wide receiver Jamier Brown, who announced over the weekend that his recruitment is shut down.
Moore will take official visits to each of his three finalists. He had already scheduled visits to Washington (June 19) and Miami (May 29), according to 247Sports, and will find time to get to Columbus as well.
Buckeyes Offer Two Camden, N.J., Prospects
In the last week, Ohio State got involved with prospects on both sides of the trenches, both of whom are from Camden High School in New Jersey.
Four-star offensive tackle Eytan D’oleo received an offer from the Buckeyes and is ranked the No. 278 player in the 2028 class and the No. 27 offensive tackle. He holds 11 Division I offers, which include Auburn, Boston College, Duke, Penn State, Rutgers and Syracuse.
The size is already there for D’oleo, who will be a junior in high school for his next football season. He is listed on 247Sports at 6-6, 330 pounds.
The Buckeyes also offered three-star edge rusher Andre Robinson, who is ranked No. 348 in the 2028 class and the No. 35 edge rusher. He holds 14 Division I offers, which include Auburn, Boston College, Duke, Florida, Michigan, Penn State, Rutgers and Syracuse.
In 12 games as a sophomore at Camden, Robinson totaled 41 tackles, seven of which were for loss, four sacks and a fumble recovery. In a Nov. 27 victory over Camden Eastside, Robinson had a season-high six stops, five of them solo tackles.
