Ohio State Wide Receiver Commit Jamier Brown Wins 100-Meter State Title

Ohio State has another speedy wide receiver set to come to Columbus.

Buckeye commit Jamier Brown showed off his wheels for Big Walnut in the 100-meter dash state championship, taking home the gold with a 10.42-second time.

Brown then went on to win two more state titles on the day, setting a Division II record with a 20.91-second 200-meter dash, the fastest time in Ohio this season. He also helped the 4×100 team at Big Walnut win first place with a time of 41.53 seconds.

Ohio State earned a commitment from Brown back in November of 2024, and while other schools continue to try to recruit him, he recently announced publicly that he had shut his recruitment down.

“I think time is just too close to just be playing around. I know where I want to go, and that’s Ohio State, so I really just don’t see no point in going anywhere else, honestly,” Brown said.

He is the No. 21 player in the 2027 class and the No. 4 wide receiver, per 247Sports composite rankings.
